PhD student Dharanidaran Jayachandran (DJ) and Aron Gyorgypal spent their summer this year completing exciting research as part of their internship training experiences. DJ was a summer research intern at AbbVie (San Francisco, California) this year working on biopharmaceuticals manufacturing related research. Aron was an ORISE Fellow at the U.S. FDA, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) this summer following which he was selected to spend a week last month at the BIOPRO World Talent Campus in Denmark with young researchers solving problems relevant to the biopharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
